Personalised Your Gift with an Engraved Message

KeepStakes can be made totally unique by adding a professionally engraved message. Please have a look at our suggested text section for examples of some inspiring wordings and pictures of engraved plaques.

The maximum amount of text that will fit neatly onto the plaque is five lines with a maximum of fifty characters per line including spaces. You don't need to use all these characters, in our experience, plaques with less words can often look better. If you would like a message engraved which has more than 200 characters, we suggest you choose the rectangular shape of plaque as this has a slightly larger engraving area.

We can add an engraved image to the top of this unique wedding gift or anniversary gift plaque. You can choose from these nine images.

We will adjust the size of the engraving fonts used according to the amount of text requested. Messages will be engraved at the appropriate size to fill the plaque face. We will vary fonts as appropriate, for example by using script font for a quotation. If there are less than 50 characters in the line which details the name, we will emphasise the line by using slightly bigger or shaded text to make this stand out.

To present this unique wedding gift or anniversary gift, we use a black ink suitable for outdoor use on the engraved letters to make them stand out clearly. This strongly black colour fades to grey within a few days of use outdoors, however the engraved letters are obviously permanent and will last indefinitely. We recommend polishing your KeepStake 2 or 3 times a year with a beeswax furniture polish to keep it clean and legible.
